The Benedictine Community of Resurrection was accepted under the direct jurisdiction of the Abbot President and his council at the September 2022 General Chapter. From 3 to 19 September, together with Fr Richard Yeo of the English Congregation, the Abbot President made a visitation in two houses of the community in Ñaña – Lima and Chucuito – Puno. During this time, the visitors also met with the Nuncio Paolo Rocco Gualtieri and Mons. Norberto Strotman bishop of Chosica and Mons. Ciro Quispe Lopez bishop of Juli. With this canonical visitation, the community enters a new phase of its history and looks to the future with hope.
