During the week of 20 to 26 October, the Abbot President, together with Abbot John Bosco of Our Lady of Victoria Trappist Abbey in Uganda, conducted a canonical visitation of the Conventual Priory in Gihindamuyaga. It was the first visitation since the election of the new prior. The Abbot President spent another week at the Sovu convent, delivering retreats to the community. The theme of these retreats was: “It is by God's grace that I am what I am” (1 Cor 15,10).
