Abbot Maksymilian arrived in the Holy Land a little before the canonical visit to Dormitio and Tabgha, to also pay a fraternal visit to the Byzantine Rite monastery of Emmanuel, which is affiliated to our Congregation. The community of three sisters has also been hosting Sr Hannah from Bethany in Loppem/Belgium for several months.  The Covid 19 pandemic and the complete closure of Bethlehem to pilgrimage traffic, was also a difficult challenge for the small community of sisters.
